Shogo Makishima... Heartless or Team Free-Will?

For those of you who have been reading my blog posts, you probably have already figured out I'm a huge Physcopass fan. Normally I talk about  how flawless Ginoza is. However, I'm here to discuss Shogo Makishima.

Shogo Makishima is the antagonist of Physcopass and is normally convicted as the villain of the story. Although Makishima is purposely made out to act, sound, look, and be a villain, most people disagree that he is really the bad guy. The first time I watched Physcopass I hated Makishima. He was the typical villain. But some fans online were talking about Makishma's true intentions that were harmless.

Shogo Makishima prefers the company of old books to other people after he discovers that the words of the passionate dead are the only things that can make him feel human in a world of cold, purposeless convenience. He mourns the willful ignorance of a society that let such dystopia world. His true intentions are not bad. A born evangelist, he possesses both uncommon charisma and a true gift for narrative.

Although Makishima brutally and publicly murders multiple people, he really was just trying to give the world, and the Sybil System, a harsh piece of reality; he was right. Yes, he did murder a few innocent people, which is wrong. However, nobody had been murdered in the whole country for years. So did Makishima make a huge impact? No. Makishima is a brave man who stood up for what he believes in, free will. No, Makishima knew it was wrong to kill people, but he wasn't hungry for blood, he was hungry for freedom.

If we were looking at this whole series backwards and Makishima was the protagonist and The Sybil System was the Antagonist, then more people would be on Makishima's side.

Anime genres... Let's talk.

The Hey guys, so today I wanted to discuss anime themes. Back when everyone was anime "new comers" we all described and classified anime genres in our own way. Whilst some titles are based on anime themes I heard on the road, here are some examples of my old anime classifications.., their horrifying yet straight to the point.

 Psychological/Dark
Ex: Physcopass, death note, Code Geass, Monster.

Dark Supernatural (Demon)
Ex: Darker then black, The black butler, book of circus, book of murder, ghost hunt, death note.

Slice-of-life supernatural
Ex: Blue Exrocist, The devil is a part timer, The black butler, D.Gray Man, Fruits Basket, Fairytail.

Slice-of-life high school
Ex: Ourans High School host club, Fruits Basket, My little Monster.

Child mainstream

Anime that I liked... But couldn't finish.

Hello! It's been a month and I decided to post something relatively short that most people can relate to. Recently I have been watching so much different anime all at once. As a result I haven't even finished one in forever. I hope most people can understand the feeling of loving a show, then half way through you find a different show and forget about the first one. Today, I have decided to write a list of the long-forgotten anime that I have watched at least half of-- but haven't finished. (No priticular order)

Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club

Hm. Now this is one sexy show. With at least 5 hot students, this is definitely an anime I plan on finishing. Although it's not dubbed, it's definitely worth the pain.

D. GRAY MAN

I really enjoyed this anime! I am a dubbed fan for this series. Im definitely a fan of Lavi and Yu kanda. I'm a BIG fan of the pony tail Yu... You really rock it btw..
(So many FANS!)

Gurren Lagann

Decent series. I'm just not a big lover of the robots, which is the main part of the story.

Fairytail

I have spent hours watching this show. Literally. I'm on around episode 90-100 and this series never ends. Don't get me wrong, I love the characters, but the plot is so slow and boring. Lucy and Natsu have romantic nature but never act on it. Some segments will focus on a stupid battle for 6 episodes. Over all, it's just a bore. Maybe some day I'll watch the rest.
