Animes like Death Note

Long time, no talk my lovely beings.
Yes, I know. I promised a "character development" blog post nearly a week ago. My dearest apologies. I do plan on posting it later on whilst my winter/spring boredom continues. I do want to post an update on the media I have been watching/listening to for the past few weeks. Hopefully I can assist you in the perfect shows to watch, since I know most of you share my television and song Interests. Without further a do, here is a list of random things I have been loving lately.

(Warning: Some television shows might be a bit mainstream. Also all anime I watch has to have a hot "BA" guy in it. I'm a sucker for sexy, underdog, bad a** guys. I hope it is a bit understandable considering I'm a newer anime fan.)

So one of the first animes I ever watched in 2010/2011 was Death Note. The Death Note anime was created in 2006, although, it still is a watched and loved series. It consists of a highschooler (later college student) named Light Yagami, who seems to cross the boundaries of whats right and wrong. He ends up finding a notebook that was previously obtained by a Shinigami (Death God) named Ryuk. The notebook has the ability to kill anybody as long as their full name is written down. Ryuk, who purposely dropped the notebook in front of Yagami, was forced to stay on earth until the students life ends. Yagami ends up taking advantage of the notebook by writing well known criminals in it. However, the longer Yagami is the owner of the notebook, the less empathy he has for human beings. He starts killing anybody who questions him. Even innocent people, and children. This series only has around thirty episodes, that are only around twenty two minutes long. Although the series is short, it does start with a highschooler and ends with a college graduate. By the middle of the series it shows that many Japanese and American people are already proclaiming Yagami Light as "The God Of The New World" Yagami ends up fooling the world for 8 years until one silly mistake is made.

Although this series is incredibly serious, it also is very humorous. If you need proof, just look at Light Yagami's last name. Backwards it spells "I'm a Gay."

That couldn't have been coincidental... Just saying.

If you like Death note and are looking for shows you that are similar, here is a list of shows you will like. Under it will show a description of the series. This list is in order of best series I enjoy that have some similarities to Death Note:

#1) Physco Pass
#2) Physco Pass 2
#3) The Devil is a Part-Timer
#4) The Black Butler (not about an actual Black Butler BTW. I'm not THAT racist.)

Now enjoy these descriptions!

#1) Physco Pass
This is a show has a Bad A** underdog named Ginoza. Mostly the main character is Kogami though, who is another hot guy who smokes sexily and fights crime. Although the twist is, these main characters are criminals... Who fight criminals.

Are you confused enough yet?

Yes you heard correct.
The police department organized a program where criminals with a high Physco-Pass try to catch other citizens with high Physco-Passes.
A Physco-pass is a scale you can scan people to see how influenced they are to act as a criminal. The normal physco-pass is inbetween 25-75. But some criminals can have a physcopass up to 500. If a person has a physcopass higher then 100, they have to be put into rehab. This is just a series with a bunch of hot guys. The hottest guy is the boss of the Criminal/agents. At first he treats the "criminal/agents" like animals. But then he has major character development and turns into a criminal himself.
 lol i know

#2) Physco Pass 2
This is the same as Physco Pass.

The only differences are:
•Kogami (main character) disappears
•Ginoza (the BA boss) turns into an even yummier person. He has major character development by going "soft". He also goes from the boss of the criminals to a criminal himself. It's sexy.
•a few new characters. There is a new adorable 18 year old criminal name Hinakowa. He is depressed and introverted. He is a cutie pie. He is amazing. He is the reason for my existence. Any other opinion is irrelevant.

#3) The Devil is a part-timer
This series is the funniest of all the shows I've seen. With only 12 episodes, this also is the shortest series I've seen. Yes, only the first season is out, and they do plan on making a second series this spring, the English dub for season 2 will be out in July.
Anyways, this show is about King Satan and his loyal (and hot) servant/butler. They come to earth disguised as humans with Intensions of conquering and taking over the world. They fail miserably. Since they were turned into humans while passing threw the gate to the earth, they had new emotions they never had as King Satan and his loyal demon. They realize it is more fun and interesting being human, because they now have fun emotions and friends. They also came to earth with nothing, so they have to try to make a living in a studio apartment. They also have to work at a "Mcronalds" (a knock-off of Mcdonalds) just to make money.

#4) The Black Butler
This show is golden. Easily one of my favorites, although it isn't very similar to Death Note.
The series takes place during the late 1800's and is based on the relationship of Ciel and Sebastian.
Ciel is a 12 year old boy who is surrounded with wealth. Both his parents are dead and for some reason everyone wants to kill him for various reasons. Again, he is 12, and has many enemy's. So he hires a demon named Sebastian to protect him. Sebastian purposely looks EXACLY like Ciels dead dad. Although this isn't conformed he does this so Ciel trusts him more. Sebastian has to be loyal because there was a contract, if Sebastian protects Ciel for the rest of his life, he can literally eat his soul. For some reason Sebastian is so excited to eat Ciels soul, because it is "different" from anyone else's. Yum. Even I want to eat a 12 year olds soul. (Not). Plus, Ciel is a brat who pities himself immensely. There also is a hilarious "villain" names Grell who is addicted with Sebastian (Bessi). It's little confusing whether "it" is male or female... [sighs]

(Warning: this show is addicting. It also contains secret boyxboy between a 12 year old boy and a demon who appears to be around 29  in human years. But in actuality, he is a demon who is thousands of year old. Although I normally don't role with pedophilia, is surprisingly hot. No joke... Plus, Sebastian has an amazing Torso. It's just amazing.)

Well there you go. I've been sitting in a cold bath for literally 2 hours writing this. My thumbs hurt and my body is wrinkly [shivers]. I hope my 7 readers enjoyed his. Under this is pictures of the characters from the shows...

/\ Grell from The Black Butler.
Sebastian from The Black Butler.
Ginoza from Physco Pass, Physco Pass 2
