Hi my small amount of readers.
I'm starting a new "segment" on my blog called Character Development. Lately I've been interested in character development and how it works. I also have been watching many series lately that have notable changes in thoughts and emotion.
Example time:
In the series "Death Note" there are almost no changes in characters whatsoever. The only person I can think of the had a tiny bit of character development was Matsuda. The only reason he is notable for this is because most of the series he was seen as useless detective and a comic relief. But throughout the story he developed the urge to help, although failing most of the time. *coughs.*
However, in the last episode he is known as the "Hero" in the series. Why is that, you may ask? He was the only who ultimately killed Light Yagami (Kira). Although Ryuk was the one to officially wrote his name down, if Ryuk didn't write his name down, then Light imagay *coughs again* would have just bled to death from Matsudas wounds.
[dreadfully long example ended]
Although there was almost no character development in Death note, it seems that most shows have a plethora of it.... In every character. Like Physco-Pass, Supernatural, Twin Peaks etc.
So yeah... I'm going to go to bed now. Ginoza and Matsuda wait for me in my dreams. But by the way, tomorrow I will upload the first official character development blog post. I plan on just talking about Ginoza from Physco Pass. You can request character development posts by commenting on this or tweeting @BastilleEmpire.
Thanks you all, have a Merry Christmas.
Love, Lilyrose.
(PS: under this are hot pictures of Matsuda and Ginoza. Deal with it.)
